The geography of Rajasthan is identified with deserts; the history of the region is full of war memories. Here the Mughals fought their decisive battles; here the Rajaput kinks defended their land with ardent fervor of patriotism. This has made this northern part of India a land of palaces, built by the medieval kings and emperors who ruled India.
When my friends suggested we go to Rajasthan, I asked myself, why not Himachal Pradesh and Sikkim, go as natural beauty, there are much better than the state of the driest desert and semi-arid regions of Rajasthan – or so thought I do. I realized how wrong I was when I saw that for myself, in fact, Rajasthan is a land of colors. What nature does not give, it’s the people more than the color of their clothes and their holiday festival compensated unique. Rajasthan is rich in its cultural life, art and architecture and the number of holidays that are celebrated. In fact, the deserts and semi-arid regions of Rajasthan comes alive with sound, color, the joy of his many social and religious festivals. When we landed at the Tour of Rajasthan, we had the opportunity to Gangaur Festival, see where the ladies of the house to celebrate the arrival of spring.
